McCauley 1:54.16 wins 800m at WMC

 Greely senior Mark McCauley smashes the league record,  hits a new state leader, and also clocks the #1 time in the country with his 1:54.16 (Spilts28,28,29,29) His time is also an allt-ime indoor sgtate best over 800m.

Three Weeks to Go: Virtual State Meets

With just one month to go in the 2009-2010 indoor season, MaineTrackXC.com presents the virtual state meets. The virtual meet provides a better look at what the outcome might look like in February, what team/s are the early favorites. The virtual meets takes each event, and scores the top 7, (it however randomnly selects from the database if there are mutliple athletes tied with the same marks/times). Each week from now until the state meet on Monday evenings a new virtual meet will be run.

Mark McCauley (Greely) shows his range clocking 9:40.51 over 2 miles in the first WMC meet of the night, but his conference leader was short lived as Henry Sterling (NYA) turned the tables in the meet 2 by clocking 9:39.17. Last week Sterling set the conference leader in the mile, only to have McCauley snatch it back in the 2nd meet.

 Alec Dunn (Falmouth) clocks 8.03 in the 55m hurdles for the top time in Class B, #2 in the state, teammate Kellen McDonald 8.29, ranks #2 in Class B, 4th state wide.
